Susie – Diabetes educator/Nurse practitioner
Susie is a dedicated and credentialed Diabetes Educator and more recently has become a nurse practitioner with extensive experience working in major metropolitan hospitals in Melbourne, including The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Royal Women's Hospital, Sunshine Hospital, Footscray Hospital, and Mercy Health. Since completing her postgraduate diabetes education in 2017, Susie has developed a deep understanding of various types of diabetes, including Type 1, Type 2, Type 3c, and gestational diabetes.
Susie is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest diabetes technologies, including continuous glucose monitoring systems (Libre 2 and Dexcom G6) and insulin pumps (TSlim X2, Medtronic 780G, and Omnipod). She is committed to providing personalized care, recognizing that each individual's journey with diabetes is unique.
With a genuine and caring approach, Susie empowers people with diabetes to take control of their condition, supporting them in their self-management journey.
